NOTHING Apr 22

Pastor Dan speaks about not being a slave to “things” and “wants” but being focused on seeking first the kingdom of God. This message comes from the inspiration for the summer 2008 theme of the Refuge, “NOTHING”. God promises in His word to provide for all our needs but sometimes we get our wants confused with needs and that can impact our perspective of God and what He wants for our lives. As a church body today, we need to refocus our perspective on what His word teaches us and be open and available to the change He calls for when it comes to how His word impacts our lives and the world around us. This world is always changing and our tactics for reaching it for Christ must change with the times as He leads us.
